Hi, this is Hideic.
It has been a while since my last post.
To be honest, I’ve been struggling a little lately. Balancing work and raising a baby has been harder than I expected, and I found myself drifting away from writing.
Our baby has recently become very active.
He explores every corner of the house.
He pulls things out.
He scatters them everywhere.
And I clean them up.
Then he scatters them again.
And the cycle repeats.
Endlessly.
Sometimes I even hear a voice in my head:
“Hey Hideic… didn’t you start a self-improvement blog?”
That thought occasionally wakes me up in the middle of the night.
And I think:
“Okay. I need to start writing again.”
But here is something interesting.
People often think that having a baby makes self-development impossible.
The truth is actually the opposite.
For me, this might be the time in my life when I’m growing the most.
Why?
Because I finally realized something simple.
Time is extremely limited.
When you have a baby, your free time disappears.
So I made a decision.
Morning is my only time.
If that’s the case, I will boost my life in the morning.
I wake up early, focus deeply, and move forward one step at a time.
And at night, I follow one simple rule:
Read at least one page.
Just one.
But even a single page moves life forward.
Honestly, this might be the busiest period of my life.
Work.
Raising a child.
Housework.
Self-improvement.
I rarely watch TV anymore.
I hardly watch YouTube.
But something strange happens when life gets this busy.
You start to value time deeply.
Your focus becomes sharper.
I play with my child wholeheartedly.
I take care of our home.
I try to build a good relationship with my wife.
At the same time, I keep thinking about work, learning new things, and improving myself.
This blog is my place to share that journey.
And I hope to move forward together with people who are walking a similar path.
So today, I want to share something simple.
Hideic’s ideal weekend with a baby.

This is the routine I try to follow on weekends when we are not traveling.
And surprisingly, it feels wonderful.
I can feel myself growing little by little.
I spend relaxing time with my family.
And my mind feels calm.
Even an ordinary weekend becomes meaningful.
Sometimes we change things up:
A slightly fancy dinner.
A new playground for the baby.
Small changes make each day special.
And that makes life feel incredibly rich.
Recently, a friend who is also raising a child said something that stayed in my heart.
“Stress from parenting can be healed by your child.”
And another one:
“Raising kids is hard — but the joy comes back double.”
I truly believe that.
So on this quiet Sunday afternoon, I felt like writing a simple post like this.
If you’re also walking the path of parenting, growth, and building a meaningful life,
I’m glad you’re here.
Let’s keep moving forward — one small step at a time.
Thanks for reading.
